Since 1964, SERVICIOS COMERCIALES ANCHOR S.A. DE C.V., originally known as Angelo's Ship Chandler's, has been in the commercial marine industry, national and internationally offering supplying services mainly in the Mexican GOM.
Nowadays, facing the future, we cannot let the past go away without thinking about our predecessor’s journey and authenticating once again, our commitment to offer an integral service of the highest quality to our clients and friends.
Our History
1960
Angelo's Ships Chandlers started in 1964 like a family company, Mr. Angel González Gamboa was in charge; his work, effort and dedication formed the foundations of our company supplying to general cargo vessels in the Ports of Tampico and Madero City in Tamaulipas, México.
We offered a broad product range and services with added value that allowed us to establish important business relationships mainly with Greek companies.
1970
According to our clients requests, we started eventual operations in the Port of Tuxpan, Veracruz, thus fortifying our connections with the industry.
1980
In 1985 The Altamira Industrial Port was inaugurated, Angelo's played an important role as a TMM's ships supplier.
1990
At the beginning of the 90's, our prestige is consolidated thanks to our clients of general cargo ships.
In 1998, as a natural consequence of its business growth, Angelo's Ships Chandlers become into "Servicios Comerciales Anchor, S.A. de C.V."
This event marked the beginning of a new modern, expansive and progressive time, under the Leandro González Guerrero's leadership, son of our founder who diversified our commercial and service activities toward the Off shore maritime market.
At that time, its operative area started from the central office located in Tampico-Madero-Altamira area to the Port of Veracruz, collaborating actively with:

In addition, Anchor inaugurated a branch in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche where it served, in Dos Bocas, Tabasco and occasionally in Lerma, Campeche and Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz.

Since the begginnig, to hard work and continuous effort prepared us for the new millenium and to start several strategic bussiness alliances with the biggest ships supplies companies.
These alliances have enable us to serve world wide as well as in the main ports of Mexico as their proudest representative.
